Great news for Supported Education!

The Youth Interventions Recognition Committee has recognized Supported Education as ‘effective according to initial indications’. Consequently, Supported Education has been included in the database of Effective Youth Interventions Dutch Youth Institute (NJi). https://www.nji.nl/databanken/interventions/begeleid-leren

We are pleased with this recognition. It is a wonderful confirmation of the value of an intervention that has been supporting young people and young adults with mental health issues for years in attending or starting mainstream education.

Depending on the support needs, Supported Education can be deployed as a provision for light help and support or as specialized assistance. In doing so, the intervention offers support that aligns with the diverse needs of young people in education.

This recognition is partly due to the efforts of the young people/students themselves, researchers, professionals in education and care, and collaborative partners, who have contributed to the development, implementation, and substantiation of Supported Education over the past few years.
